Long description: Two European contaminated land networks NICOLE and NOBIS held a joint conference on recent advances in the state of the art of bioremediation. Four technical areas were considered:
- natural attenuation/extensive remediation,
- intensive remediation,
- remediation monitoring
- decision support systems.
