Short description: The Scottish Soil Framework was developed by Scottish Government based on the advice from a wide range of stakeholders. The Framework is aimed at relevant policy leads within Scottish Government, its delivery partners, environmental and business NGOs, research organisations and other key stakeholders with an interest in soils. It describes key pressures on soils, especially from climate change, and the policies in place to combat those threats.
