Short description: Chemical transformations of some pollutants adsorbed on the plant surface1-4 were studied scarcely in the recent years. The photochemistry of selected pollutants on the paraffin and spruce needle wax surfaces have been investigated in this work. Paraffin was chosen as a model matrix, resembling the chemical composition and properties of natural waxes. Natural wax was obtained by the extraction of spruce needles, which are interesting natural matrix investigated in the last years.
