Short description:

Draft Regulations and associated draft Statutory Guidance which extend the existing contaminated land regime under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Part 2A) to cover radioactivity. The extended regime will provide a system for the identification and remediation of contaminated land, where such land is causing lasting exposure of radiation to any person or where there is a significant possibility of such exposure.
