Short description: Consultation on a first phase of standards to support implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) in Scotland. Standards are proposed for 13 environmental conditions needed to support healthy aquatic ecosystems. 
Long description: Standards proposed fall into 3 categories: water quality, water resources and morphology. The proposals include standards for dissolved oxygen, BOD, Ammonia, Phosphorus and estimates of the percentage change from natural conditions for flow and morphology
