Regulatory guidance for the entry into force of an extended statutory regime for the identification
and remediation of contaminated land with effect from 4 August 2006. This extended
regime consists of Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, as originally introduced
on 1 April 2000 together with changes intended chiefly to address land that is contaminated
by virtue of radioactivity.
