Short description: The Environmental Technologies Action Plan (ETAP) was established by the European Commission in 2005. It aims to stimulate eco-innovation and create an environment in which such innovations can establish themselves in the marketplace. This report provides an update of progress in the first year and covers eco-innovation itself, trends and developments and future priorities, which include further Green Procurement, more investment, the exstablishment of Technology Verification Programmes, promotion of awareness and improved uptake of research.
