Project
Summary:
The project consisted of five tasks:
1 A critical review of existing models for environmental fate and effect parameters
2 Development of schemes and multivariate models for the classification of chemical compounds
3 Development of new QSAR models for predicting chemical reactivity, biotic or abiotic degradation and biotransformation
4 Application of the models to the estimation of adsorption of sediment to soil, chemical degradation, biodegredation, biotransformation, bioconcentration and toxic effect concentrations (aquatic and terrestrial species)
5 Validation of the models
