The SustainabilityA-Test project contributed to the EU's and national sustainable development strategies by applying a consistent and comprehensive evaluation
framework to validate sustainability tools.

Project
Summary:
All kinds of existing and new (European) policies influence society's sustainability. E.g. they affect the environment, the economy or institutions. Many
tools (i.e. methodologies, models, approaches and appraisals) were developed to assess such policies either before or after they are implemented. Examples
of such tools include Environmental Impact Assessment, Scenario Tools, Multicriteria Analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis and Accounting Tools.

Achieved Objectives:
Its main result is a catalogue of state of the art tools. In addition, an array of tools was tested in a case study on biofuel policies. The project was succeeded
by the European INDI-LINK project.
