Project objectives:
Complex hazardous contamination of soil and water are obstructing sustainable re-development of previously industrialized urban land in Europe as well as in China. Although several significant efforts have already been developed, a systematic and integrated approach for the sustainable management of contaminated sites is still lacking. The main objective of this program is to strengthen the quality of research by developing international collaborations and advance the decision making on complex issues in contaminated land management.
