Organisation Outline:
The Consorzio Venezia Ricerche (CVR, i.g. Venice Research Consortium) is a non-profit research organization founded in 1989 that provides a direct link among Venetian Universities, research centres, public institutions, and private companies.
Cooperating with various partners, the Consortium aims at developing research programmes based on technological and scientific methodologies, as well as creating and coordinating both national and international applied research projects.
The missions of the CVR are to carry out applied research and to support the technology transfers among small and medium enterprises, by means of the members’ research laboratories and both internal and external expertise.
The activities of the Consortium can be divided into two groups: research projects of multi-year experience carried out with the support of the Italian Ministery of Research and the European Research Programmes, and scientific-technological problem-solving support on demand (as responses to specific requests).
