Project objectives:
To determine and quantify the key parameters governing the vertical and lateral flux of selected organicagrochemicals in the vadose and aquifer system and to model the effect of these parameters on the transport of these compounds at laboratory, lysimeter, field and regional scale.
|
Project
Summary:
The project had three distinct areas of research:
1 Experimental studies in saturated and unsaturated columns, concentrating on reactivity in the solid/solution phase
2 Field and lysimeter scale pesticide tracer experiments
3 Modelling of the physico-chemical processes determining the mobility and transformation of compounds
