Short description: |
Intuitive Risk Assessment is fundamental for human survival; however, it is only 30 years since Risk Assessment became an effective tool for Risk Management. The paper consists of two parts: a brief overview of main ideas behind Human Health Risk Assessment, the second presents the way in which a health-based risk assessment approach is being applied in the INCORE project. On of the most outcomes of this work will be a decision support tool for contaminated groundwater management.
