Short description: |
The report provides an in depth description of the Metalbioreduction project, aimed at reducing environmental pollution caused by heavy metal and metalloid (HMM) pollution. The main objective was to develop a number of processes based on the sulphate-and metal-reducing ability of bacteria to prevent pollution in water bodies and to assess and minimize HMM pollution originating from contaminated sites.
