Laboratory experiments using flow cells over a variety of scales are an integral component of the SALTRANS project. Measurements from diverse experiments have been used to gain fundamental understanding of basic flow and (reactive) transport phenomena, as a basis to formulate new theories, and as a means to test quantitative models.
