The information included in this deliverable has been centred in the description of the legal requirements and goal systems for the different five selected case studies of transboundary catchments, representing different hydrological situations and socio-economic contexts in Europe: Bela River in Czech / Poland, Gudiana River in Spain / Portugal, Nestos River in Greece / Bulgaria / Pasvik River in Norway / Russia, and Sumava River in Czech /Germany. For each one of the five case studies different types of information have been included in the deliverable: • A short introduction related to the legal and political evolution of the border area. • The study of the legal and normative issues, at European, national, regional and local scale, including the analysis of the last normative issues. • The goal system, describing the stakeholders and end users updated goals and needs concerning transboundary water management and collaboration development. The responsibilities and contribution of the stakeholders are enumerated for each one of them.
