Short description: |
PTS which have high vapour pressures due to low photochemical conversions or other degradation processes are transported far distances and may be globally distributed. In order to assess the atmospheric residence time knowledge about the vapour pressure at different temperatures is indispensable. For many PTS fairly exact vapour pressures at different temperatures are not known. In order to predict residence times it is necessary to have a formula for vapour pressure assessment.
