Short description: |
NOMIRACLE aims to develop integrated risk assessment models to address interactions between the environment and human health.
|
Long description: |
NOMIRACLE has seven scientific objectives:
1 To develop methods to assess the cumulative risk of exposure to several stressors
2 To improve integration between the analysis of environmental and human health effects
3 To improve understanding of complicated exposure assessment and develop tools for adequate assessment
4 To develop a framework for the description and interpretation of cumulative exposure and effect
5 To quantify, characterise and reduce uncertainty in cumulative risk assessments
6 To develop methods that account for geographical and cultural differences across Europe, including perception of risk
7 To improve provision for application of the precautionary principle
