Short description: |
Extract: No matter how innovative, reliable, or efficient a technology is, it always needs a good strategy to overcome barriers and to be successful on the market. PROMOTE is a European funded research initiative of 12 partners from 6 EU member states. PROMOTE aims to provide the protocols for a candid and trusted marketing by Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) in the field of soil-groundwater remediation and site characterisation/ -monitoring. With this PROMOTE is following up on a European action plan that is to open up markets for environmental technologies by verification.
