Extract: CLARINET established a specific Working Group on Co-ordination of RTD on an
European level. Within this Working Group, programme managers from 11
European countries plus DG Research from the EU are aiming to stimulate regular
communication and coordination between national RTD programmes on
contaminated land issues. The Working Group has made a survey of national and EU
research programmes related to sustainable land and groundwater management
issues.
