Long description: An analysis of the morphological structure of a tidal landscape was undertakento examine assumptions related to the geomorphological evolution of wetlands, lagoons, estuarine areas and tidal environments in general. Field surveys and remote sensing are employed to accurately characterize morphodynamic features of a lagoonal environment. Space-distributed analyses of ecogeomorphological properties are shown to be a key morphodynamic factor.
