The WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) Aggregates
Programme is funded by Defra (Department for Environment, Food and
Rural Affairs) from the Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund and the
Scottish Executive. It aims to reduce the demand for primary aggregates
by promoting greater use of recycled and secondary aggregates.
By providing free information and support, the Aggregates Programme
raises awareness of the opportunities that exist for recycled and
secondary aggregates and addresses barriers to their use.
