The maps of the Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZs) in England have been updated to show the NVZ boundary matched to individual field boundaries. Regulations formally designating these final field boundary maps have now come into force. Farmers can now begin to commit to eligible expenditure under the terms of the Farm Waste Grant Scheme. Farmers are advised to check with the East Midlands Rural Development Service (0115 929 1191) before commencing work.
Summary maps can be downloaded and there is an interactive map for local information.
