Long description: Substance Database for Contaminated Sites / Environmentally Relevant Substances. It contains substance data for risk assessment and supports the generation of analysis plans. Data is expanded continuously and updated on a regular basis. The program provides data for the media soil, air and water. The database contains the following modules: health hazards, first-aid measures), data from regulations (GefStoffV, TrinkWV and WGK, MWC, TRC, BWT-values, status 2001), test, measure and provisional values of BBodSchV and tips for calculating test values for assessing old contamination as well as the toxicological basic data used for calculating the values, list values for assessing substance contaminations in the soil, the water and the soil atmosphere (status 1999) as well as background values for inorganic and organic substances in the soil (LABO 1998). At present, the substance database contains over 1,100 substances with synonyms relating to different characteristics and 13,000 data records for substance data; hazardous substance concentrations; list values; test, measure and provisional values for the substances governed by the Federal Soil Protection and Contaminated Sites Ordinance (BBodSchV) of July 12, 1999 as well as information about substances not governed by test values relating to the effect path soil-human.
