RISKAT is a Software Decision Support Tool, developed by UK HSE as a tool to quantify risk to people living in the vicinity of major hazard sites.
The program is able to be run as a 'stand-alone' application (e.g. on a laptop computer) and as an application on the MSDU (Methodology and Standards Development Unit (MSDU) of the Health and Safety Executive) network.
The software is required to operate on the MSDU minimum specification PC. It is assumed that Windows NT 4 (service pack 6) or higher will be available on the users machine. The installation of the new software will be undertaken by the HSE REFIT team; HSL will manage and monitor this process and advise MSDU of progress.
