Long description: |
‘CLEA UK’ allows practitioners to derive generic assessment criteria, derive site-specific assessment criteria and calculate average daily exposure/health criteria ratios using a methodology that is consistent with current UK government policy on contaminated land. Additionally, assessment criteria can be derived for contaminants for which no government approved Health Criteria Values or Soil Guideline Values are available.
'CLEA UK' Beta Version 1.0 is now available for Microsoft Excel 97 for user evaluation and comment. A final version incorporating recommendations identified from feedback will be available approximately six months after release (i.e. Summer 2006).
The software has been tested for a limited range of chemicals and scenarios. Therefore, it is recommended that it is used cautiously when applying it to user created chemicals and scenarios until the final version is released.
