The "Sites et sols pollués" section of the web site of the French Ministry for Sustainable Developpement is maintained by BRGM (Geosciences for a sustainable Earth - http://www.brgm.fr) in collaboration with ADEME (French Environment and Energy Agency - http://www.ademe.fr), INERIS (National Institute for Industrial Environment and Risks - http://www.ineris.fr) and IRSN (Radioprotection and Nuclear Safety Institute - http://www.irsn.org) and IFFO-RME (Institut Français des Formateurs - Risques Majeurs et protection de l'Environnement - http://www.iffo-rme.fr)
The "Sites and sols pollués" section provides information about the French risk assessment tools and others methodological guides. It is also a source of links towards other websites as National inventories databases (BASOL and BASIAS), conferences and workshops and many others.
