What’s New on EUGRIS
The original EUGRIS project was supported by the European Commission under the Fifth Framework Programme and is contributing to the implementation of the Key Action 1: "Sustainable Management and quality of water" (1.4.1 Abatement of water pollution from contaminated land, landfills and sediments) within the Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development Thematic Programme Contract No: EVK1-CT-2002-80021 (http://www.cordis.lu/eesd/) with further financial and in-kind assistance from a number of other supporters and "associated projects". The Federal Environmental Agency Germany co-ordinated the FP5 consortium which included 11 partners from Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and the UK. Since the completion of the EC funded project at the end of 2005, several EUGRIS partners have continued to develop the EUGRIS system and add to its content and interactions have developed with other continuing projects. EUGRIS is now substantially enhanced since the completion of the FP5 project and has ever increasing levels of interest and content (See EUGRIS Content Today on home page).
