Organisation Outline: 
The missions of ADEME within the framework of the national policy on the contaminated sites and soils is developed around 4 principal axes which are:            
Operations of setting in safety of the polluted sites with failing person in charge,            
Animation and the support for the research tasks and development on the environmental and medical stakes of this pollution,           
The council and the support for the actors and persons in charge for the polluted sites,           
The council and the participation in the the national, European and international needs and  exchanges, in order to develop the policies and methods of management 
of the polluted sites and to diffuse and promote acquired knowledge and competences.
